Colossians 2:8-16
WE ARE COMPLETE IN HIM – CHRIST JESUS
Our completeness is attached to Jesus Christ. It can only be found IN HIM. In HIM we have everything we need to succeed in life. He is our one-stop shop for everything.
2 Corinthians 5:17
If any man is IN HIM, He makes us new creatures. We have been reborn
Romans 8:1
IN HIM we have been fully justified and completely free from all condemnation. We are righteous and pure, having all our sins forgiven.
Romans 8:2
Two basic laws operate in the realm of the spirit in this world – the law of the spirit of life is found in Christ Jesus. And the law of death that is found outside Christ.
Ephesians 1:3
All spiritual blessings from heaven are found only in Christ.
Acts 17:28
We belong to God, so we live, move, and do everything else. It is the life of Christ inside of us that helps us do all that we do.
IN HIM means INSIDE OF HIM. It means wrapped around by HIM. Shielded by all that He represents. When we appear as humans, people see us, but wrapped around us is the physically unseen Christ.
To be in Christ starts from the moment we give our lives to Him. But we must consciously live our lives to continue to be IN HIM. Because in Him our lives are bound to be excellent.
The devil knows when we are truly in Christ. And as long as that is, he cannot have any powers over us.
To be in Him is not by being from a Christian family, or to go to church, or to bear a Christian name. To be in Him is when your life is completely given to Christ. Living your life completely over to Him. Being completely sold out to Christ.
IN HIM is where every miracle happens to a child of God. Where every one of our spiritual blessings consists of. Where the natural mind cannot understand us. IN HIM we are COMPLETE. NOTHING LACKING; NOTHING WANTING. When you are complete IN HIM, you are completely complete.
You do not need to depend on any man. Though for God to bless us, He will do it through a human but ultimately our blessings are tied in Christ. Nobody can help you except God enables Him or moves Him to help you. So instead of going around begging people for help, look up to Christ to supply all your needs. Only He will decide how your help will come.
