CHOOSE LIFE

(When you have done what you need to do, leave the rest to God)

Deuteronomy 30:15-16; 19-20

We have been given an opportunity by God to choose and He has also advised us on what to choose. God always gives us reasons to choose what He wants us to choose. In the above scripture God gave us two clear choices, to live or not to live.

The choice He has given us to live is for us to choose Him by doing the following

  •  love the Lord
  • walk in the ways of God
  • keep His commandments
  • keep His statutes
  • keep His judgements
  • obey His voice
  • hold tight on to Him,

When we make these choices, we will live and multiply in the land God has given to us. We will blossom in the land He has placed us in.

Acts 17:28 “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring”

Following God is a personal choice and not a group choice. When you choose to follow Him, He sees you and blesses you as a person. You do not need a majority for things to happen in your life. What you become is not influenced by other people’s choices. Someone’s choice cannot negate your choice.

There is prosperity in this land and only God can make you access those promises because He owns the land. It doesn’t matter what government operates in the land. As long as you have a relationship with God, He will do what He desires to do in your life.

The word life according to John 14:6 is a person, Jesus. He is the life that God is talking about. He has set before us Jesus and satan or man and have advised us to choose Jesus in order to live.

1 John 5:12

When you have Jesus you have a brand new life, Zoe kind of life which is superior to what we know as life. You have prosperity as long as you live in Christ

John 10:10 – Jesus came to give us abundant life

Colossians 2:10 says we are complete in Jesus. It doesn’t matter what you are going through. In the end you will have all that God has promised you.

The emergence of a good president will not make the covenant more potent neither having the worst president make the covenant of no effect. Looking unto Jesus will make our lives beautiful. Let not your heart be troubled. Keep your eyes on God who is our redeemer. Take your eyes off man because the arms of flesh always fail.

Who is your help and where does your help come from?

Psalm 121:1-2

Our help does not come from any man. Our help comes from God.

Jeremiah 17-5-8

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Great things await us irrespective of who becomes president. Great things await us. Our blossoming awaits us.
